Service Description

Course Description: The Mid-Range Gas Gun Course is a hands-on, skill-building course designed for shooters who want to develop their skills with semi-automatic rifles. This course focuses on engaging targets at mid-range distances (100-600 yards) using the AR-15 or similar platforms. This course will provide you with the tools and techniques needed to increase your accuracy, confidence, and speed while shooting at extended ranges. Course Highlights: * Understanding Gas Guns: An overview of the characteristics and capabilities of semi-automatic, gas-powered rifles for precision shooting. * Zeroing & Rifle Setup: Learn how to properly zero your rifle for mid-range accuracy and configure your equipment for optimal performance. * Ballistics & External Factors: Understand the impact of wind, distance, and environmental conditions on your shots and how to make real-time adjustments. * Positioning & Shooting Techniques: Develop and refine your shooting positions, from prone to barricades and props, ensuring maximum stability and accuracy. * Target Engagement: Master techniques for target acquisition, and engaging multiple targets at varying distances. * Wind & Environmental Considerations: Learn to read wind patterns, adjust for elevation, and incorporate environmental factors into your shooting strategy. * Speed vs. Precision: Balancing the need for speed with the requirement for accuracy, including drills designed to build both Who Should Take This Course: * Shooters who want to improve their skills with semi-automatic rifles at mid-range distances. * Competitors preparing for long-range shooting events. * Military and law enforcement Prerequisites: * Basic firearms safety and handling experience. * Prior experience with semi-automatic rifles (preferably AR-15 or similar). Required Gear: * Gas-operated rifle (AR-15 or similar) chambered in 5.56mm/.223 (6arc, .308, 6.5 is also welcome) * LPVO/MPVO and red dot/magnifiers * 500 rounds of quality ammunition. * Eye and ear protection. * 14.5” or longer barrel that can group 2 moa * Bipods * Shooting mat or support bag for prone shooting. Course Duration: 2 Days (Approximately 14 hours of instruction, drills, and live-fire exercises) By the end of the Mid-Range Gas Gun Course, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to effectively engage targets out to 600 yards. (NO M855/M855a1, SS109, AP or steel core ammunition. $100 fee for damages) No refunds on safety violations
